Uniper sees hearing of suit against Gazprom no earlier than 2024
MOSCOW, Aug 1 (PRIME) -- Uniper expects the start of litigations under an 11.6 billion euro claim against Gazprom Export over non-delivery of gas since June 2022 no earlier than in 2024, CEO Michael Lewis said on Tuesday at a phone conference.
The executive also said that Uniper sees it unlikely to start receiving gas from Gazprom's export arm.
Lewis said that Uniper filed the suit demanding compensation for the losses borne because of the need to buy gas elsewhere to the Stockholm court at the end of 2022.
